A few pages of images from the annual gathering of the Federation of Railway
organisations of NZ. This years conference was held in Christchurch and
feild trips were to Mainline Steam, Weka Pass Railway, Steam Scene, &
Ferrymead.
This is a selection of
photos taken around New Zealand, featuring
some well known, and some not so well known railways and engines. Also
included are some unofficial sites, these cover some of my favourite railway
sites within New Zealand, engines which are special, and general information.
A project I have been working on with the Federation of Rail Organisations
of New Zealand (FRONZ) has been the New
Zealand Rolling Stock Register, since about 2001-2002 I had been compiling
my own list of preserved rolling stock in New Zealand, then in June 2006
I was nominated to be the NZ convenor of Rolling Stock for FRONZ.
